1980s children’s book classic The Last Slice of Rainbow by Joan Aiken, beautifully illustrated by Margaret Walty.

This face belongs to me, Ceri — the one on the left. When I’m not drinking tea and eating biscuits in a semi-vegetative state, I’m usually surrounded by books. I read them, buy them, sell them, photograph them, and sometimes even write about them.
